of arched form and surmounted with an oval porcelain plaque miniature depicting a gentleman, possibly Louis XVI, above floral and foliate ornaments, with an arched glass etched door and a circular enamel dial with Roman numerals and escapement movement signed H.P. & Co 2315, the glass side panels and glass rear door with scroll and swag decoration to the lower corners, the front with a central trophy of a flaming torch and quiver of arrows, standing on scroll and stepped supports, 57cm high
